SAVE THE MUSIC
Amplifying Impact to Revitalizing A Brand
Innovative design solutions to harmonize visual identity and strengthen connections across communities.
As a Brand Designer and later as a Consultant Art Director for Save The Music Foundation (STM), I had the opportunity to contribute to one of the nation’s leading music nonprofits. Founded in 1997, STM empowers students, schools, and communities to unlock their full potential through the transformative power of music-making. My role was to support the foundation’s mission by revitalizing its visual communications and ensuring a cohesive brand presence across all platforms.
Collaborating closely with the Senior Director of Marketing Communications, I led the strategic implementation of STM’s new brand toolkit. This involved updating a wide range of marketing assets—including digital collateral, print materials, and event branding—using their refreshed visual identity, which featured updated typefaces, colors, and photography. I ensured that every piece adhered to the foundation’s brand guidelines, maintaining consistency while maximizing visual impact.
Beyond technical execution, I brought a creative vision to the process, finding innovative ways to adapt the new toolkit for various audiences and applications. By aligning the updated materials with STM’s mission and values, I helped amplify the foundation’s message and strengthen its connection with stakeholders, from donors to educators and students. This work not only elevated the foundation’s brand presence but also reinforced its role as a leader in the music education space.
