KOS AIR

The Norwegian Way to Journey Beyond Boundaries

Crafting a bold brand identity that transforms travel into self-discovery and adventure.

Norway is a natural wonder—an expansive realm where travelers can immerse themselves in the vastness of nature and embark on transformative adventures transcending the boundaries of the self. Leading the creative direction for this project, I developed a concept rooted in the universal traveler’s desire to explore, lose, and reconnect with themselves—embodying what I coined as The Norwegian Way. This guiding principle became the foundation for the brand identity of Kos Air, a new budget airline committed to making these journeys accessible.

Drawing inspiration from Herbert Matter’s iconic Swiss travel posters, I reimagined his bold, graphic style to evoke a modern sense of discovery and connection. I led the strategic development of a visual language that harmonized striking typography, vibrant imagery, and clean design elements to reflect Norway’s breathtaking landscapes while resonating with a contemporary audience.

As the creative lead, I designed the visual identity. I crafted a brand narrative that positioned Kos Air as more than a mode of transportation—it became a gateway to personal exploration and self-discovery. I ensured the identity was adaptable across digital and print touchpoints, maintaining brand consistency while delivering an aspirational message. The result was a compelling and cohesive brand launch that captured the spirit of Norway and inspired a new generation of travelers. STUDENT PROJECT
